End of the Year

It is May 19th, and we get out on May 22nd. With 2 1/2 days left of school, this school is crazy. For 5th grade, we have home run club today, and our D.A.R.E graduation, which we have been working on for a long time. On Thursday  we are going to Epic Six, for our 5th grade party. I don't know what the other grades are doing, but I bet it's cool.

Genius Hour

People in our class are working on different projects. Aly, Jake, and Will are working on making remixes, Olivia and Kaitlyn are working on a blog about random acts of kindness, I think that their projects are going to be really interesting. Everyone in our class has been working really hard and fast on their projects to make sure they are Amazing and Perfect. People in our class have had a lot of fun during our genius hour and we are sad that this is our last genius hour. If your not in fifth grade then make sure that when you have genius hour to have a project that you interested in and a project that you can have fun with exploring it.http://actsorkindness.blogspot.com/2015/05/sometimes-it-takes-sacrifices-to-be.html?showComment=1431536668298#c191227968484620427

Buddy Day/Barbeque

5th grade is going to have a BBQ with their buddies because in November their field trip to the Zoo was cancelled because of snow. We are going to play games in the morning and then eat lunch with our buddies then watch a movie inside. I am really excited because I think it will be really fun to make up our field trip that got cancelled by having a fun day with our buddies. Some parents are taking time out of their day to help out with games or the BBQ. I think this will be an AMAZING day.

These few Weeks

These past few weeks that have been really crazy. With MAP testing going on things aren't normal. With MAP testing sometimes specials or lunch is at different times. Some 5th grade classes even get extra recess because they have to come in early for MAP testing in the afternoon. The good thing is... Tomorrow is the last day of MAP testing. On Friday, May 1st we 3rd-5th grade gets a field day. If you get points for being her everyday and for working hard, you get to be in the grand opening of the new field. There will be games, and snow cones, and a bunch of fun things. Anna and I would like to thank all the teachers that help all day with MAP testing. I know it's now always fun. Keep working hard for the last 2 days 3rd-5th graders.      -MoGo (Morgan)

D.A.R.E

In D.A.R.E we learn not to do drugs. Officer Kelley teaches us what to do in different situations  if we need help. Officer Kelley knows what she tells us and is really good at making sure we will be okay. officer Kelley is really nice and great at teaching us what we need to know. Officer Kelley takes time out of her workday as a police officer to teach us every single Wednesday. Officer Kelley is a great police officer and she teaches us everything we know today. I am glad I got to have D.A.R.E in 5th grade because it was lots of fun and amazing. - BananaHeadFace

Miss Steeno

Miss Steeno is very nice and kind. Miss Steeno went to Sappington for elementary school. Miss Steeno loves teaching even since she was a kid, when she was a kid she loved how Lindbergh schools taught kids and she wanted to carry on the tradition. Miss Steeno loves math and her classes math stations because her class always loves math stations and that makes her love it more. Miss Steeno also told Morgan and I that on her first day of school she vomited on the bus. That SUMS everything up hope you like Miss Steeno because she is great.
